IHE France to host Connectathon 2010

For its 10th anniversary edition the European Connectathon returns to France where it all began in 2001.

The connectathon will be located at the Cité Mondiale in Bordeaux, from April 12th til April 16th 2010

Price

The cost for registering a system at the connectathon is based on the number of systems a company wishes to test and on the number of IHE Domains supported by the system.

In 2010 the price are the followings (expressed in Euros and prices excluding VAT):

First system :	2900 Euros
Second system and followings:	3000 Euros
Domains (ITI as a second domain is free):	1000 Euros

For example:

a company that registers a single system for the Radiology domain, fees will be : 3900 Euro decomposed in
- 2900 Euro for the system and
- 1000 Euro for the domain
a company that registers 2 systems both supporting cardiology domain integration profiles and radiology integration profiles, fees will be : 7900 Euros decomposed in
- 2900 Euro for the first system
- 3000 Euro for the second system
- 1000 Euro for the radiology domain profiles
- 1000 Euro for the cardiology domain profiles
a company that registers a single system supporting Radiology domain integration profiles and IT-Infrastructure integration profile, fees will be : 3900 Euro decomposed in
- 2900 Euro for the system and
- 1000 Euro for the radiology domain
- IT-infrastructure is a second domain and no fees are charged for it

Registration

Web registration is performed through the gazelle tool at the following URL : http://gazelle.ihe-europe.net/Bordeaux2010

Web registration allows participants to :

Provide administrative information about the company that registers. Registrant will be asked for the VAT number of the company.
Provide information about systems that will participate to the connectathon. For each system the registrant will have to provide the list of actors and integration profiles supported.
Gazelle will check the integrity of the system (are all actor/integration profile dependencies met) for the registrant
Gazelle will allow the registrant to generate a contract in the form of a PDF file
Registration is complete when the signed contract is returned to the IHE Europe Technical Project Manager and to the IHE Europe secretariat. Detailed instructions are provided within the generated contract.
Online registration that is not followed by the reception of a signed contract is considered a null once the registration deadline is reached

Important notice

In order to ease the registration process :

Registrant that did participate to the Vienna connectathon can re-use their login/password from Vienna. If you have forgotten your password, Gazelle can send you a new one.
Systems that did participate in Vienna are already preloaded can be "imported" into the Bordeaux connectathon session. This will avoid re-entering data about systems that were already loaded for the previous event.
Configurations and test results are not imported

Gazelle

The Bordeaux connectathon will be the first one run entirely with Gazelle. We have worked very hard to improve the performance and the stability of the tool since Vienna. If you find problem or have suggestions please use our bug tracking system to report them.

Demonstrations planned in 2010

Please read the announcement of the demonstrations under the following links. Please make sure also that within the Gazelle tool you register the system you would like to show up at demonstrations. Registration within Gazelle is indicative. Final registration is not managed by IHE Europe and should be done through the organising institution.
