IHE Netherlands

IHE Netherlands is structured as a not-for-profit foundation with a board of three members, the User-co-chair, the Vendor-co-chair, and the Treasurer. IHE NL results are obtained within the various working groups.

IHE working groups

Public Relations, Education and Annual Conference, Enterprise Architecture, Lab, Zorg & ICT (the annual Healthcare & ICT tradeshow), and Portable Data for Imaging, Architecture and Patient Care Devices.

National Healthcare ICT infrastructure

IHE Netherlands is working with NICTIZ, the Dutch National Institute for ICT in Healthcare. Together they work on the development of a nation-wide solution for lab ordering and results sharing. Several regional IHE-based information networks are under construction or being piloted.

Membership

IHE Netherlands has two types of members : Corporate and Individual. There are presently almost 80 members listed on the IHE Netherlands website. Membership fees include participation in the annual congress, discounts on training sessions, as well as participation in the steering committee and working groups.
