IHE United Kingdom

IHE-UK is a member of the British Computer Society Health Informatics Forum. The IHE-UK Steering Committee supervises the work of the IHE-UK Domain Committees, primarily the IHE-UK Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology (MIRO) Domain Committee, which is sponsored by the British Institute of Radiology. An IT Infrastructure Domain Committee has recently been formed with an initial focus on Cross Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS).

Membership

To apply for IHE UK membership please see membership application form below. IHE UK has three classes of membership: Individual, Corporate and Benefactor. Details can be found in the IHE UK Governance Framework document. The Steering Committee includes five professional body representatives, the Domain Committee co-chairs and the Technical Manager. The IHE-UK Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology (MIRO) Domain Committee has 39 registered members including six corporate members. IHE-UK has the support of 14 commercial organisations, who include leading providers of Health IT systems, software, equipment and services.
