Introducing interoperability requirements in a tender is the only way to build a consistent and coherent IT infrastructure for the future and to protect investments.
The steps of the use case driven methodology described in this section allows the definition of the interoperability framework that is needed for the tender technical specifications before defining the criteria for the selection of products and solutions.
IHE has also developed other assets that will help the procurers:
- The Connectathon Results Browser, a multicriteria database that gather all the results of the Connectathons worldwide;
- The Product Registry where vendors create and publish integration statements;
- The IHE Conformity Assessment (public website where the assessment reports are published providing the results of conformity of products).
