The mission of IHE-Europe is to encourage interoperability among healthcare systems by promoting adoption of international IHE specifications and development methods. IHE-Europe is founded on National Initiatives that take into account differences between Member States of the European Union (EU) while helping to minimise barriers to sharing data.
